The over looks an outstanding bet in Week 1 of the NFL season.
The Cowboys should be able to move the ball here. Exactly how Brian Schottenheimer’s offence plays remains to be seen, but a healthy Dak Prescott as well as the addition of George Pickens should see Dallas at least be a middle of the pack offence this season.
There are big questions to be asked of the Eagles defence as well. They were plundered in free agency, losing key contributors on the defensive line as well as in the secondary.
On the other side of the ball, the Eagles Super Bowl winning offence is largely intact, especially their running game. The Eagles put up 75 points across their two meetings with Dallas last year, and if needed are capable of doing the majority of the heavy lifting to get this total over the line.
On the other hand, the Cowboys have now lost Micah Parsons, easily their most effective player on defence, and while defensive tackle Kenny Clark (acquired in the trade) will help somewhat, it’s hard to see the Dallas D taking a big leap forward this season.
The over his hit in seven of the last nine meetings between these teams and can do so again.

CeeDee Lamb has been the focal point of the Cowboys passing attack but don’t expect his production to diminish with the arrival of George Pickens. If anything the addition of another receiving threat should help unlock him.
Saquon Barkley rushed for 2000 yards last season and until teams show they can slow him down, keep backing him.
