The Detroit Lions will never get a better chance to progress to their first ever Super Bowl but must overcome the Washington Commanders, coming off their first playoff win in nearly two decades.
Best Bet
While Washington have become somewhat the team of destiny of late due to a star rookie QB and a penchant for last-play wins, Detroit are the better team and are far and away the top team left in the NFC.
And as popular as the Lions have become, they are not a team the market has caught up with.
Detroit went 12-4-1 ATS this season, continuing on some remarkable ATS runs by coach Dan Campbell and QB Jared Goff.
Campbell’s teams have always exceeded expectations, covering 64.6% of games over his career. The last three seasons his teams are 36-14-1 ATS.
Goff has been just as impressive, particularly indoors, going 34-13-1 ATS with the Lions under a roof.
The two combined are 11-2 ATS when favoured on extended prep.
Chips in Detroit.
Same Game Multi
David Montgomery has topped 50 yards on the ground in three of his last four full games.
Jahmyr Gibbs has 30-plus receiving yards in five straight.
Jameson Williams has at least five catches in six of his last seven appearances.
Value Bet
Tim Patrick has three touchdowns this year and they have all come in the last five games. He is the clear WR3 for the Lions but he is trusted by Jared Goff and looks a good bet to get over as he has reliable hands.
