Best Bet
The under is a compelling bet in this game.
Let’s start with the Texans, who are once again starting Davis Mills in place of CJ Stroud. They could only put up 16 points against the Titans last week, and the run game struggled with just 61 yards on 21 running back carries.
The key to beating the Bills is the run game, but it’s dubious whether the Texans are good enough at it in their own right. With Mills in the game anyway, Buffalo can go all out to stop the run.
The Texans defence on the other hand is outstanding, being the number one ranked team for both yards and points. Houston is 22-10 to the under at home since 2022.
Buffalo remains without Dalton Kincaid and they have produced two of their worst offensive games on the road this year, scoring just 14 against Atlanta and 13 against Miami.
The total here just looks way too high in what should be a low scoring affair.
Same Game Multi
Like Buffalo to win this but less excited about them to cover the line.
Davis Mills has 40+ pass attempts in both of his starts. Expect Houston to try to run it given Buffalo’s weakness but game script should force them to throw.
James Cook has had a couple of down weeks but is capable of bouncing back here.
Value Bet
Josh Allen is coming off three rushing touchdowns a week ago and given the strength of the Texans defence, it might take what is a near unstoppable force to find the end zone again.
