Best Bet
The Jaguars enter the playoffs as the hottest team in the AFC and look well positioned to defeat what has been an very inconsistent Bills team.
Jacksonville enter this game in a remarkable run of form. Not only have they won their last eight games, they have covered the line in every one of them.
Since their Week 8 bye, the Jags have scored at least 23 points in every single game. They haven’t allowed more than 20 since Week 12.
Buffalo, of course, has Josh Allen, and it also has the best running game in the NFL. But the receiver talent is the worst of any playoff team, something that will likely show up against the Jags in-form secondary.
Their defence is without first round cornerback Maxwell Hairston, injured last week against the Jets, and their run defence is allowing 5.0 yards per carry, the third worst mark in the league.
Allen is capable of taking over any game – albeit he has never won a playoff game on the road – but the best bet is clearly the Jags in this game.
Same Game Multi
The loss of Hairston is a big blow to the Bills as he was the best matchup for Brian Thomas Jr who has covered this line in three of his last five.
The Bills are 31st in the league for rushing touchdowns allowed so expect so expect Etienne to run one in.
Trevor Lawrence has had 20 + rushing yards in five of his last seven and it wouldn’t surprise if the Jaguars threw in some designed runs for him.
Value Bet
The Bills lack genuine speed at the corner position outside of Hairston so the burner Thomas Jr looks primed for a couple of explosive catches on the outside.
