With Tua on the bench the Bengals are a strong play in this deadest of dead rubbers.

The Dolphins are starting former Longhorns QB Quinn Ewers, who, despite the frustration around Tua’s play, is highly unlikely to be an upgrade on the former number one overall pick.

Cincinnati were shut out last week by Baltimore but teams off being shut out are a remarkable 35-17-1 against the line since 2015.

While Cinci were terrible last week, they pushed the Bills to one score prior to that and beat the Ravens in Week 13. That level of play is far better than anything Miami have managed of late.

The quarterback advantage with Joe Burrow back in the lineup for Cinci relative to a seventh round rookie is enough reason to play the minus in this one.
