The NFC East usually gets more primetime games than any other division and with the defending Super Bowl champions and an emerging superstar quarterback, it’s no surprise that remains the case.

Division Winner
Philadelphia deservedly start as favourites to win the East but Washington are clearly the best value bet.
It’s easy to forget now, but last season’s Eagles won the Super Bowl off the back of an incredible defence. They ranked first for yards and second for points, and memorably kept the Chiefs to 275 yards in the Super Bowl while forcing three turnovers.
It’s the defence though, that was plundered in free agency, with Josh Sweat, Brandon Graham (retirement), Bryce Huff, Darius Slay, and C.J. Gardner-Johnson all moving on in the offseason.
Washington, on the other hand, has got even better pieces to put around star quarterback Jayden Daniels. Last year’s Rookie of the Year now has Laremy Tunsil protecting his blind side and Deebo Samuel now partners with Terry McLaurin as an incredibly potent receiving duo. Dan Quinn’s defence should also be better in his second season with the team.
Neither the New York Giants nor Dallas Cowboys are serious contenders. Jerry Jones sunk the Cowboys on the eve of the season by trading Micah Parsons, while soon to be 37 years old Russell Wilson is hardly the answer in New York.
The Commanders shape as one of the best divisional bets of all.
Season Wins Over/Under
The Giants have gone from 9, to 6, to 3 wins under head coach Brian Daboll and it is hard to see where the resurgence will come from. Russell Wilson isn’t the answer. Jaxson Dart has shown flashes in pre-season, but that doesn’t mean much. Starting the season at Washington and then Dallas, then hosting the Chiefs and Chargers, it’s easy to see the Giants starting 0-4 and from that point they would need to win six of thirteen. Good luck with that.
Player Prop
Dan Quinn did a remarkable job in his first year in charge, taking the Commanders from 4-13 to 12-5. It goes to show the value of elite quarterback play but you will seldom find a winner of this award who doesn’t have it. With a potential Super Bowl team, the massive price here is a tremendous bet.
