The fairytale continued in Tasmania’s miraculous debut NBL season, knocking off the defending champions, Melbourne United, in the semifinals to book a Grand Final matchup with Sydney.

The Kings were the preseason favourites and have lived up to the hype after a slow start to the year, and that has largely been thanks to MVP Jaylen Adams who well and truly found his groove.
In the front court, Xavier Cooks has been the main man for the Kings and this duo throws a whole new look at Tasmania versus what they came up against when taking on Melbourne.
The dynamism of Adams’ offence and the diversity of Cooks’ skillset on both ends of the floor will give the JackJumpers plenty to think about and I can’t see their defence controlling the Kings in this series, like they did against United.
The Kings have covered eight of their last 12 games and will improve that record in Game 1.
