Sydney made light work of Tasmania in Game 1 of the Grand Final but will likely have to enter Sunday’s match without league MVP Jaylen Adams, who limped off the floor early in the fourth quarter of the opener.
While that is a blow to the Kings, the likes of Shaun Bruce, Angus Glover and Ian Clark are solid enough backups to takeover the ball handling duties and we’ll see the Kings take a 2-0 lead on Sunday.
Tassie had no answer for this very strong Sydney defence, shooting just 35% and being forced into some very difficult shots. A similar shot diet is on the horizon for Game 2 and Sydney are a bet as two-point favourites. The JackJumpers are just 2-4 ATS in their last six games as home underdogs and Sydney are 9-4 in their last 13 games and 7-2 in their last nine on the road.
