The villain of Game 1, after a hard foul got labelled a dirty play by the Phoenix fans. The boos and attention he drew for Game 2 didn’t seem to bother the big man and he certainly won’t be getting that treatment again, back in Adelaide for Game 3.

Back-to-back 10 rebound performances in these finals and an 11 rebound game previously, in the Ignite Cup loss to the Breakers.

The big man has been crashing the glass in big games and with Isaac Humphries only seeing six minutes in Game 2, we have to chase this line.

Sobey was incredible in Game 2 of the Semi-finals, chucking his squad on his back and dragging them across the line.

Finishing with a career high 41 points, which included eight three pointers! We have seen it now across both games, Sobey is the man for SEM, and he will need to do it once more, if they are any chance of knocking off the 36ers.

Averaging 27 FGA, 7.5RPG and 5 assists. The 44.5PRA average is just huge compared to this line. Adelaide will be doing everything they can to stop Sobes, but it’s not like they haven’t been trying in the first two games.

The 36ers controlled Game 1 and outscored the Phoenix for the last three quarters of that game. In Game 2 they started the same way, leading at half time by thirteen points. They let the game slip, allowing a thirty-nine-point third quarter by SEM, before only managing fifteen points in the final quarter.

They have had a target on their back all season and rightfully so. They have the best list on paper and finished second on the ladder, only to Syndey. The sting of losing the Ignite Cup is still fresh in their minds and now they are doing this semi-final series the hard way.

With a home crowd behind them, I think they get the job done for four quarters, led by their superstar Bryce Cotton.
