Had a shocker in the opener at Qudos Bank and provided no help to Cotton, who was getting absolutely swamped in game 1.

Game 2 was a different story for the Kiwi, he bounced back strongly. The extra game time was obviously due to the difference in the game scenario and will be very similar for all the players.

In game 2, Cameron started aggressive and made some outside shots, which is a must if the 36ers want to be able to spread the floor and not allow Cotton to play in a log jam. Either Flynn or DJ need to have 15+ points if Adelaide are any chance of a game 2 repeat.

Rako was back to his rebounding best in game 2, after the out of character five rebound performance in game 1.

I expect him to do the majority of this in rebounds alone, but add the assists cause the big man is more than capable and is playing plenty of game time.

Humphries played a lot more in game 2 due to his rim protection and truthfully, he was playing too well to take him off. He won’t get 6 blocks in most games, so I expect the 36ers to use more of Rakocevic, who provides more on offence.

Love him or hate him he just turned the heat up in this series and now we have a genuine grudge match to decide the championship.

It was brave, borderline stupid to run after Cotton, after his game winner, to talk trash on a night where you shot just 6/25 from the field. But we know that is the competitor in Davis and he isn’t about to change for anyone.

Both games he sunk two triples and game 2 saw Adelaide allow him to shoot from outside, as they saw it as a lower percentage opportunity, and they were right. Davis shot just 20% from deep and certainly had some great looks. If he gets chances like that again, he should make the 36ers pay.
