Best Bet
Magic @ Thunder (11:10am)
The rebuilding Thunder may be without their two youngest stars in Josh Giddey and Chet Holmgren but they have hit a hot streak with three straight wins against three big-dog contenders. After back-to-back wins against the LA Clippers, the Thunder went to Dallas and rolled the Mavs in OT.
Orlando’s form stands in star contrast. They have won just one of seven – a home win against Charlotte – and they have really struggled on the road. The Magic have failed to cover any of their last seven on the road.
Oklahoma City have covered four of five off a win and hold form well with 37 covers from 51 off a cover. The Thunder tend to beat up on losing teams too with a 26-12-1 cover record against teams with a losing record.
With Orlando covering just 5 of 17 off allowing 100-plus points, there is only one way to bet this.
Next Best
Warriors @ Heat (10:40am)
The over is the only way to play Golden State this season. In seven games, the over has hit seven times. The lowest total in their last six games has been 233.
The over has hit in each of the last two Miami games too including against the Warriors on October 27. They have hit 110-plus in each of their last three.
In Golden State’s ;ast 17 against a losing team, the over has hit in 12 of them while the over has hit in 10 of 14 road games. The over has hit in 9 of 12 Miami games against teams with a losing record.
The scoring should be plentiful in this one with the over also hitting in eight of the last nine Warriors-Heat meetings.
Value Bet
Warriors @ Heat (10:40am)
Andrew Wiggins has seen his scoring drop off the last three games but it hasn’t been due to a reduction in shooting. After opening the season with three straight 20-point games, he went with 16 and 18 before two 10-point outings on 4/13 and 4/15 shooting.
In his two games against the Heat last year, Wiggins topped 20 in each.
We should see some upward regression soon from a very good shooter.
