With Ja Morant back for Memphis, they’re a huge chance of causing an upset in New Orleans on Wednesday.
Best Bet
Spurs @ Trail Blazers (2:00pm)
It’s a low assist line for Damian Lillard which has already been crunched in, but reality is he’s averaged 7+ assists in his last three seasons, and with Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant on fire of late there’s no reason for him to go under here.
Covering 5.5 assists in four of his last five games, Lillard enters this matchup with the Spurs off the back of a 12-assist performance against the Mavericks, with point guards producing assists 10% above average against San Antonio over the last month.
It’s worth taking the $1.66 now before the line moves to 6.5, but due to his low line the value lies with 8+ and 10+ assists at $2.67 and $6.65 respectively.
Next Best
Nets @ Kings (2:00pm)
With both Kyrie and Ben Simmons out, Kevin Durant has gone on a tear for Brooklyn and he should cover the line of 6.5 against the Kings.
Durant averages 8.3 rebounds per game from his last eight, covering the rebounding line of 6.5 in six of those games.
It’s hard to see a blowout against in Sacramento, so Durant should play around 37 minutes which is more than enough time to cover this line.
Value Bet
Grizzlies @ Pelicans (11:30am)
Still got my concerns with New Orleans as it stands despite their 13-point win over Houston taking their record to 7-6.
CJ McCollum is in a real slump at the moment averaging 9.5 points per game from his last four, while the on-court mix still has some issues with Willie Green struggling to play both Zion and JV together for defensive reasons.
As for Memphis, they’ll get Ja Morant back for this one and are a proven regular season team off the back of last season. The $2.10 as outsiders is certainly value.
Wednesday NBA Multi
Grizzlies/Mavericks/Trail Blazers = $3.60
