NBA Tips – Wednesday, November 13 NBA Picks & Multi

Klay Thompson - NBA Tips

Today signals the start to the ‘In Season’ NBA tournament, The Emirates NBA Cup. Will it be business as usual or will we see a bit more of a playoff atmosphere as the league is trying to accomplish?

Best Bet

Charlotte Hornets @ Orlando Magic (11:00am)

Goga Bitadze
Over 9.5 Points

Goga has been thrust into the starting line-up after a reoccurring knee injury to Wendell Carter Jr. Over the last 4 games he has averaged 26.5 minutes and as long as he avoids foul trouble, he will be in line for the same here against Charlotte.

Charlotte are having their own issues finding a Centre, with Mark Williams yet to suit up this season and backup Nick Richards now unavailable. They have been running with Taj Gibson who should no longer be on an NBA team and Grant Williams who, against Goga will be horribly undersized.

Bitadze has cleared double figures for points in 4/4 of his spot starts. The big Georgian national should be licking his lips for this opportunity.

SGM – Bitadze 10+ Points/ Ball 25+ Points/ Miller 3+ 3 Pointers = $3.50

Next Best

Atlanta Hawks @ Boston Celtics (11:00am)

Jaylen Brown
Over 35.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists

The Celtics ended up coming back from 17 down to win the last game, but notably Jayson Tatum landed on an opponent’s foot rolling his ankle. This bet is made under the assumption that the Celtics play cautious here and give JT the night off.

JB is averaging 24PPG this season and is averaging 20.4 shot attempts across that stretch. Since they became an All Star duo, when Tatum misses, Brown’s numbers jump to 23.7 shot attempts per game and a whopping 30.9PPG.

His PRA numbers this season are 34.8 but since 2022 and without JT they jump to 43.7. With an already healthy usage rating of 30% across 7 games this season, the Celtics will look to Brown to lead against Atlanta who will be without their best player Trae Young, even more reason Tatum sits.

SGM – Brown 20+ Points/ White 4+ Rebounds/ Capela 8+ Rebounds = $2.70

Value Bet

Dallas Mavericks @ Golden State Warriors (2:00pm)

Klay Thompson
20+ Points

This game would have been circled on the calendar the day after he got traded to Dallas. Klay will venture back to the ‘Chase Center’ for the first time since the Warriors moved him on. After 11 seasons and 4 championships, Klay signed with Dallas for a cool $50 million over 3 years.

Thompson has been in a shooting slump heading into this one and Dallas have had to heavily rely on Kyrie and Luka to carry the team. The positive here is the shot attempts are still there for Klay and if he can find his rhythm in his old office, he could easily have 15+ (1.84) or 20+. PJ Washington won’t suit up so Klay will play 30+ minutes. Starting the season 5-5 Dallas aren’t currently even in the play in standings in the highly competitive Western Conference. They are desperate for a win and would love to steal one here on Klay’s reunion ceremony night.

SGM – Thompson 3+ 3 Pointers/Doncic 25+ Points/ Curry 25+ Points = $3.50
