Donovan Mitchell - NBA Tips

Donovan Mitchell can’t allow a repeat of Game 1 and I expect him to put together a big game here, to level the series.

Indiana Pacers @ Cleveland Cavaliers (9:00am)

Donovan Mitchell
Over 38.5 PRA

Indiana shocked the world when the beat the Cavs, at home, in Game 1. Not many gave the Pacers a shot against the well drilled Cavaliers, but as Round 2 is showing us, anything can happen.

The Cavs need to respond and this is now a must win Game 2 before travelling for the next two. Two of the Cavs starters in Garland and Mobley are questionable so keep that in mind and check for updates before the game. If either miss this game I can see Spider having another 30 field goal attempts. He finished game 1 with 42 PRA, but shot poorly from the free throw line and even worse from beyond the arc. I don’t foresee another 1 of 11 from deep so if he shoots closer to his season averages, he should clear 39 PRA.

SGM: Mitchell Over 38.5 PRA/ Nembhard 4+ Assists/ Cavs Win = $3.00

Golden State Warriors @ Minnesota Timberwolves (11:30am)

Draymond Green
Over 14.5 PR

This series is everything an NBA fan could ask for, with the ageing champions having one last dream run, but they face a roadblock, the young, trash talking Anthony Edwards and co. It’s guaranteed to get chippy and we wont have to wait long before these teams get into a war.

It’s no secret Draymond and Gobert don’t like each other and they have had many altercations in recent meetings. I thought Gobert was going to be a little less playable last series, but the Wolves found a way to keep him in and even play him in tandem with Naz Reid, which caused headaches for the Lakers. Green gets a boost in rebound numbers when taking on Minnesota, averaging 7.7 over his last 3 games.

Green also averaged 9.3 points in that period including double figures in points on 2 of the 3 occasions. Green shot poorly throughout the Houston series and he will have to find his range here, with the amount of open shots the Wolves will force him to take.

SGM: Green Over 14.5 PR/ Podziemski 10+ Points/ Edwards 6+ Rebounds = $3.40

Cavs / Wolves -6.5 = $2.43
