NBA Tips – Wednesday, March 5 NBA Picks & Multi

The Raptors held on for a road win against the Magic when they met two days back, but find themselves as long outsiders in this meeting in Orlando.

Best Bet

Toronto Raptors @ Orlando Magic (11:10am)

Raptors +7.5
Line

It should have been a comfortable win for the Raptors last start against the Magic excluding a last-minute collapse, but still managed to get he job done on the road.

I simply cannot take Orlando at this line considering how bad they’ve been lately. From their last ten games they are 4-6, but have only won by 8+ points in two of those wins – they were against the woeful Washington Wizards, and the equally terrible Charlotte Hornets.

Like most Orlando games this will be a low-scoring grind, and while Quickley, Barnes and Barrett continue to play for the Raptors they’ll be a lot more competitive than the odds suggest.

SGM – Raptors +7.5 / Walter 4+ Rebounds / Banchero 6+ Rebounds = $4.50

Next Best

Milwaukee Bucks @ Atlanta Hawks (11:40am)

Onyeka Okongwu
Over 13.5 Points

Minutes have maintained despite Capela coming back to the mix, with Okongwu keeping his starting spot for the Hawks.

Okongwu averages 14.5 points across 20 games as a starter this season and in his last two games with Capela back, he’s played 32+ minutes on both occasions.

Playing 30+ minutes in his last three games, this appears to be an ongoing thing for the big man which is great news for this line – in nine games of 30+ minutes this season he averages 18.9 points, covering 13.5 in eight of those games.

Milwaukee have conceded points to centres 16% above average over the last month, so I think we’ll see a big performance from Okongwu here.

SGM – Okongwu Over 13.5 Points / Giannis 30+ Points / Daniels 4+ Rebounds = $3.30

Value Bet

New Orleans Pelicans @ LA Lakers (2:40pm)

LeBron James
10+ Rebounds

The Pelicans have been one of the easier teams to rebound against this season but mainly at the centre spot – but with Hayes a non-rebounding centre for the Lakers, I think Luka and LeBron will get plenty of opportunities on the glass.

LeBron only had 5 rebounds last game against the Clippers which has seen his line drop a fair bit – but the three games prior to this he had 13, 17 and 12.

This is a nice price for King James who will get plenty of chances in this.

SGM – Luka Under 28.5 Points / LeBron 8+ Rebounds / Murphy 4+ Assists = $4.33

Wednesday NBA Multi

Raptors +7.5 / Timberwolves / Lakers
