Khris Middleton - NBA Betting Tips

A clash of two NBA Titans and a throwback to the 2021 Finals with the Bucks taking on the Phoenix Suns. Could it be a savvy Bucks vet that steals the show?

Best Bet

Houston Rockets @ Indiana Pacers (11:10am)

Tyrese Haliburton
6+ Assists

This is a tad skinnier than what we would typically look for in our best bets, but I just cannot go past this market.

Yes, Hailburton is on a minutes restriction of 22 minutes since coming back from his hamstring injury 4 games ago. However, in this span, he is averaging an impressive 12.8 assist opportunities per game, which is good for 13th in the league.

These opportunities are only being cashed in on to the tune of 5.0 per game, which is an absolute outlier if you look at the players with similar assist opportunity numbers. The 10 players that come after Haliburton on this chart are all averaging a minimum of 6.5 assists, with some even clocking in above 8 per contest. I am expecting some positive regression here for the Pacer superstar, back to his season average of around 60% conversion, which is 7.7 assists based on the current minute restriction. Hell, there’s even a chance that the minutes start to increase!

SGM – Siakham 20+ Points / Sengun 25+ Points / Turner 2+ Threes = $6.75

Next Best

Milwaukee Bucks @ Phoenix Suns (2:10pm)

Khris Middleton
Over 27.5 PRA

Getting in early on this one as Dame Lillard tweaked his ankle for the second time in as many games last time out against the Jazz. He is listed as questionable entering this contest, and is a huge chance to sit, meaning Middleton would set to benefit significantly from the extra usage.

Even if Dame elects to play through the injury again, Middleton has been rolling. Since Doc Rivers has taken over, he has seen his minutes return to the mid-30s, which typically gives Middleton ample opportunity to crush this line.

Over his past 6 games, he has returned PRA totals of 30, 34, 30, 25, 31, and most recently 24, where he shot an uncharacteristic 5/15FG. Middleton shot over 50% from the field and 38.9% from 3 in Jan, looking every bit the player that helped the Bucks win a chip against the Phoenix Suns back in 2021. He has two 40-point explosions from his last 6 contests against the Suns, so take him with confidence here.

SGM – Middleton Over 16.5 Points / Booker 30+ Points / Giannis 10+ Rebounds = $5.00

Value Bet

Orlando Magic @ Miami Heat (11:40am)

Paolo Banchero
8+ Rebounds

We played this exact market a few weeks back and it absolutely crushed, with Paolo hauling in 10 rebounds in that contest.

Banchero has played the Heat 6 times in his short career and has eclipsed 8 rebounds on 5 of those occasions. It’s a match-up that he loves, with the Heat lacking a bit of size at the forward position. In fact, Paolo is taller than the entire Heat starting 5. Bam will likely have his hands full with Wendell Carter Jnr, leaving a distinct size advantage for Paolo, presumably over 6 foot 7, Jimmy Butler, who famously doesn’t take the regular season all that seriously.

$4 for 10+ rebounds for those interested. He has hit this mark in 3 of his past 5 against the Heat so there is a bit of value there too.

SGM – Franz Over 20.5 / Paolo 6+ Rebounds / Butler 4+ Assists = $4.33
