NBA Cup Quarter-finals are upon us and the Orlando Magic are heavily wounded. I’m looking to a guy who knows about injuries all too much in my best bet.
Orlando Magic @ Milwaukee Bucks (11:00am)
Best Bet
After 218 days between his last game and his recent return, Khris is back to basketball. A horrendous run of injury resulting in bilateral ankle surgery has kept him off the court for what Bucks fans tell me was forever.
He has played twice this season and both with a clear minutes restriction and cautious approach from his coaches. Hopefully an NBA Cup Quarter-final can be the reason to extend him to 25+.
Although given his recent form, he can easily get this done within his restricted time. In two appearances, he has had 5 assists in 23 minutes and 6 in 20. Last season across 55 games he averaged 5.3 assists per game.
SGM – Middleton 4+ Assists/ Bitadze 6+ Rebounds/ Giannis 25+ Points/ Bucks Win = $3.60
Value Bet
He has been on a heater since returning from a week layoff due to a sprained wrist. 31 PPG, 10.5 RPG and 9.5APG. He’s also been shooting 50% from the field and averaging a handy 3.3 steals per game. In other words, he is back and has heaved Dallas up the Western Conference in the process.
4 games since his return and he has cleared this value line 3 out of 4, also posting 2 straight triple doubles. Luka has a dream matchup against OKC, who allow the most rebounds per game to point guards and also allow the most rebounds per game in general.
The Mavs played the Thunder in the playoffs last season and Luka grabbed 10+ boards 5 times. With an NBA Cup Semi-final birth on offer, we should hopefully see playoff minutes and intensity from him.
SGM – Doncic 10+ Rebounds/Williams 20+ Points/ Hartenstein 10+ Points = $5.00
WEDNESDAY NBA MULTI: Bucks/ Thunder
