New Orleans have quietly become one of the hottest teams in the West with five wins in their last seven with covers in all five of those victories.
The Pelicans have been rolling offensively with 109-plus in each of their last seven including three stints of 124-plus in their last five. The Thunder, by contrast, have dropped four of their last five and have conceded at least 118 in each of those five.
New Orleans have covered 12 of 16 off a loss and four of five at home. Oklahoma City have covered just one of five off scoring 100-plus and have failed to cover six straight off a double digit loss.
The firepower the Pelicans bring will be too much for this young Thunder team.

Hornets @ Celtics (10:40am)
The Celtics are on a back-to-back here and that is always a time to bet the over in their games, even more so after they played in a freewheeling clash with the Wizards that tallied 251 points.
The over is 15-5-1 when the Celtics are on the backend of a back-to-back. It is also 6-1 when the Celtics play at home and has hit in nine straight when Boston play a team with a winning percentage below .400.
This is also a nice over spot for the Hornets, who have gone over the total in 11 of 15 on the road and in five of seven against teams with a winning record of .600 or better.
Value Bet
Pacers @ Lakers (1:40pm)
The Lakers have had the hot hand of late but it should be noted that their last four wins have included three against the struggling Sours and one against the hapless Pistons. They should not be favoured by so much against a Pacers team that can score. Indiana have covered five of the last seven against the Lakers and are typically one of the most undervalued teams on a back-to-back.
