New Orleans Rookie Derik Queen has been the benficiary of James Borrego taking over from Willie Green at the Pelicans, and he gets a huge opportunity against the Bulls.

Detroit Pistons @ Indiana Pacers (11:10am)
Bizarrely low line for Andrew Nembhard who is delivering at Point Guard for the Pacers since returning from injury.
Although it says that Nembhard averages 19 points per game, if you exclude the opening game of the season against OKC where he got injured in 16 minutes, his average jumps to 20.9 points per game.
Maybe it’s due to the fact they’re facing the Eastern Conference leading Pistons, but Detroit is actually the sixth easiest team for point guards to score against over the last month at 6% above average.
Nembhard has hit 15+ points in seven of his last eight games and coming off 32 against the Cavs, he should do this easy.

Chicago Bulls @ New Orleans Pelicans (12:10pm)
The New Orleans Rookie looks the goods, which is promising as he was dealt in one of the worst trades we’ve seen in recent times – but can Derik Queen prove us wrong?
Since Borrego has taken the reins at New Orleans, Queen has moved into the starting line-up and his minutes are building. During this five-game stretch, Queen averages a PRA of 31, but it’s what he’s done the last three games which is exciting for Pelicans fans averaging 23.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6 assists.
The Bulls are horrible at defending centres – they’re the fifth easiest team for centres to score against, second easiest to rebound against, and seventh easiest to produce assists against. We’ve seen the likes of Paul Reed tee off on Vucevic as a third-string centre with 28 / 13/ 6, Kel’el Ware had 20 and 14, and Clingan had 17 and 21. It’s paying $17, but we could see Derik Queen’s first career triple double in this.
Value Bet
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Toronto Raptors (11:10am)
Of all players in the NBA to have played 10+ games, who do you think leads the league in assists per 36 minutes? If your answer is Nikola Jokic – you’re correct, because he’s freakishly good, but right behind the Joker is Toronto’s Jamal Shead.
Shead is running at 10.9 assists per 36 minutes this season, and with RJ Barrett limping off straight to the locker rooms today, we could see an increased role for the Point Guard.
Averaging 5.7 assists per game as it is, it’s Shead’s recent form which is most promising, averaging 6.7 assists over the last six games while hitting 6+ in four of those games including the last three.
Assuming Barrett can’t go, we should see Shead push 25 minutes in this which certainly brings in 6+ dimes, but you could stretch to 8 paying $5.
