James Harden is starting to find his feet with the Clippers.
Best Bet
LA Clippers @ San Antonio Spurs (12:10pm)
With Russell Westbrook now coming off the bench, this gives James Harden more usage with the ball in his hands emphasised by his last two games.
Harden is coming off 21 points against the Nuggets and 24 against Houston, playing around 35 minutes per game in each encounter.
What really works in his favour though is the match-up. The Spurs concede the most points to point guards in the competition over the last three weeks at 21% above average, so expect the Clippers to post a big score and Harden to continue to build offensively.
SGM – Clippers / James Harden Over 17.5 Points / Zach Collins Over 13.5 Points = $4.00
Next Best
Denver Nuggets @ Detroit Pistons (11:10am)
This could be the game where the Joker decides he’s sick of losing. Denver enter this dropping their last two and three of their last four, heading to Detroit who currently own the worst record in the NBA.
Jokic only played 27 minutes in Denver’s loss to the Cavs so he will be fresh off no rest and enters this covering 30.5 points in five of his last eight games.
The Pistons are having a horrid time defending the five without Jalen Duren, and the last three weeks they’re the easiest team for centres to score against at 25% above average. I expect him to fill it up getting Denver back on the winners list.
SGM – Nuggets -8.5 / Nikola Jokic Over 30.5 Points / Aaron Gordon 15+ Points = $5.50
Value Bet
Milwaukee Bucks @ Washington Wizards (11:10am)
It’s bloody brave backing this bloke who has been absolutely terrible this season, but Jordan Poole gets a chance to find some much-needed form against the Bucks.
By trading Jrue Holiday, Milwaukee’s defensive back-court is in real strife between Dame Lillard and Malik Beasley, resulting in them being the easiest team for shooting guards to score against over the last three weeks at 16% above average.
Poole is in a real slump shooting the ball at 37% the last fortnight, but the volume is still there. We know he can score when he’s hot, so I’ll back him in to turn the tables when the Wizards host the Bucks. 30+ seems so far fetched right now, but $10 remains nice value.
SGM – Jordan Poole Over 15.5 Points / Malik Beasley 2+ Threes / Deni Avdija 4+ Assists = $4.00
Tuesday NBA Multi
Nuggets / Heat / Clippers / Timberwolves = $4.78
