Has been fantastic for majority of the post-season with a couple of blips – most noticeably when Randle was benched in Game 2 in OKC.
Returning to Minnesota for Game 3, Randle bounced back strong with 24 points and 3 assists and has played well in Minnesota the entire playoff series. Averaging 22.8 points and 5.2 assists this post-season, both points and assists are up when playing at home, averaging a PA of 29 where he’s covered in all six games.
He’s vital to Minnesota’s success this series, and think we’ll see another strong game.
Value Bet
Big assist numbers for SGA this series, mainly due to the way the Timberwolves are defending him.
SGA hit 8+ assists in both of OKC’s home games to commence the Western Conference Finals, and managed six in Game 3 – not a bad effort considering he played just 28 minutes and it’s highly doubtful that happens again.
Minnesota is collapsing off the ball whenever SGA has it at the top, trying to force him to be a passer. When the Timberwolves go smaller without Gobert, they’re also doubling the on-ball, which is giving the likes of Hartenstein opportunities on that short roll.
