NBA Tips – Tuesday, March 18 NBA Picks & Multi

Alperen Şengün - NBA Tips

The Rockets’ big man gets the easiest match-up in the NBA when Houston host what’s left of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Best Bet

Philadelphia 76ers @ Houston Rockets (11:10am)

Alperen Sengun
20+ Points

A blowout the only concern here for Alperen Sengun when he faces the 76ers.

The Turk is averaging 21.2 points per game from his last 12 games for the Rockets, and although that doesn’t sound like a huge difference against his line of 19.5 points, he’s hit 20+ in nine of those games.

Philadelphia is in all sorts, they’re playing their G-League team and concede points to centres 31% above average over the last month convincingly making them the easiest team in the NBA for centres to score against over this period.

SGM – Sengun 20+ Points / Vanvleet Over 21.5 PRA / Eason 10+ Points = $4.20

Next Best

Washington Wizards @ Portland Trail Blazers (1:10pm)

Alexandre Sarr
15+ Points

Huge breakout game by Alexandre Sarr – unsure whether he can maintain the efficiency, but on sheer volume alone I really like him to cover this line against the Blazers.

Sarr had 34 against the Nuggets from a whopping 28 shot attempts, while the game prior against the Pistons he had 19 points.

Portland had a real good stretch in January, but they’ve been really poor of late which gives the Wizards a chance. Centres are scoring 13% above average against Clingan and the Blazers over the last month, emphasised by Poeltl’s 19 points on Monday. Can really see Sarr popping off once again due to his ability to shoot the triple – potential to ladder this and take 20+ ($3.75), 25+ ($10) and 30+ ($19).

SGM – Sarr 15+ Points / Clingan 10+ Rebounds / Avdija 8+ Rebounds = $4.20

Value Bet

Memphis Grizzlies @ Sacramento Kings (1:10pm)

Memphis
Win

The Grizzlies enter Sacramento as underdogs surprisingly – largely due to Ja Morant’s absence.

But the Grizzlies have the depth to cover for Ja – they are obviously better with him than without going 28-15 with the point guard, but they are still going at 60% without him with a 15-10 record.

After just beating Miami by 34 last start without Ja they enter this full of confidence, while the new coach energy is starting to wear off for the Kings. They’ve lost their last four including being smashed in their last three – their most recent loss to the Suns was a shocker. Sabonis is back for Sacramento, but don’t think this will matter against the Grizzlies who are fighting for the second-seed in the West.

SGM – Memphis / Sabonis Under 28.5 PR / Monk 4+ Assists = $4.20
