What Zion has produced for the Pelicans in limited minutes cannot be understated ranked second in the NBA over the last three weeks for points per 36 minutes.

I understand he’s playing the best defensive team in the NBA in the Thunder, but this line for Zion is crazy low.
What he is doing since returning from injury cannot be understated. Over the last three weeks, Zion is ranked second in the NBA only behind SGA for points per 36 minutes going at 37.1 per 36.
From his last seven games, Zion averages 27.7 points covering 21.5 points in six of those games. Although he’s still only playing 27 minutes a game and that likely won’t change, I still think he covers this.

But Davis is out for 3-4 weeks now (shock horror), and Gafford’s usage should return back to the level we saw when he went on the huge stretch without Lively.
The Kings concede points to centres 10% above average over the last month and rebounds 11% above average, which means we could see a big return for Gafford similar to the 9-game stretch where he averaged a PR of 29.1.

A nice run by Jaden McDaniels which has been boosted by the absence of Julius Randle.
McDaniels averages 8.3 rebounds from his last 11 games, hitting 8+ rebounds in eight of those games. The Randle injury has certainly helped, averaging 9 rebounds over this five-game stretch and hitting 8+ rebounds in four of those games.
Naz Reid isn’t a big rebounder and more of a stretch-four, so no reason why we can’t see McDaniels keep producing these rebound numbers while Randle is on the sidelines.
