The Phoenix Suns have been a genuine surprise packet this season, and although he’s had a stint due to injury, Grayson Allen has produced some huge games to start the season.

Best Bet
Phoenix Suns @ LA Lakers (2:10pm)
Numbers this season pre-injury were huge for the Phoenix Suns, with Grayson Allen averaging 17.9 points per game.
Allen has a covered this line in 79% of games this season – he missed in his second last game against the Pacers, but he scored 12 points in 12 minutes before getting injured. He returned against the Nuggets last start but just played the 25 minutes, finishing with 10 points.
He’ll be better for the run, and I think we’ll see his minutes closer to 30 in this when they face the Lakers off no rest. When playing 30+ minutes this season he’s covered 13.5 points on all ten occasions, so if he gets the opportunity here he covers.
Next Best
Milwaukee Bucks @ Washington Wizards (11:10am)
Took a while for Myles Turner to find his rhythm in Giannis’ system, but he is starting to find his stroke.
Turner only averages 12.7 points this season, but this is down to a slow start. In his last eight games with Giannis that average jumps to 13.3, covering 12.5 points in five of those games. The big man failed to cover last start against the Nets finishing with ten points, but he played 22 minutes in a blowout – assuming he plays to his average minutes of 29, I think he covers this line.
The catch here is the opposition. The Washington Wizards are the easiest team in the NBA for centres to score against over the last month at 31% above average, while conceding triples at 42% – this is where Turner should capitalise.
Value Bet
Orlando Magic @ Chicago Bulls (11:40am)
Talking about big men knocking down triples, a huge chance for Wendell Carter in this against the Bulls.
Chicago is conceding triples to centres 42% above average over the last month, and if you watched the first four minutes of Indiana’s game against the Bulls the other day you would have noticed Jay Huff knock down four triples immediately.
Bigs continue to punish Vucevic and the Bulls, and Carter isn’t afraid to let it fly from deep. He’s averaging 1.5 triples over the last 15 games, and is shooting the three-ball at 47% over this stretch. He’s hit 2+ in eight of those games, and he won’t get a better opportunity than this against Chicago.
