Detroit Pistons @ New York Knicks (9:30am)
Was cautious taking OG Anunoby in Game 1 with the minutes increase to both Brunson and KAT, but he was once again a shining light for the Knicks.
OG played 44 minutes in Game 1 which is a great indicator of Thibs intentions this series, and after scoring 23 points from 18 attempts in the series opener, I think OG will once again get plenty of looks.
Was traded in primarily for defence, but OG has become quite the offensive weapon lately. From his last 23 games, Anunoby averages 22.7 points per game covering this line in 18 of them. Happy to back this in off those numbers alone.
SGM: Anunoby Over 17.5 Points / Towns 12+ Rebounds / Bridges 10+ Points / Harris 10+ Points = $4.20
LA Clippers @ Denver Nuggets (12:00pm)
Did not expect to see Westbrook receive these minutes in Game 1! Looked like interim coach David Adelman preferred to go down the stretch with Russ over MPJ, with Westbrook playing 34 minutes in the series opener – albeit in a game going to OT.
Still think we see high 20 minutes from Westbrook in this, which is a great indicator to covering this line.
In the last 39 games Russ has played 26+ minutes, he averages 15.9 points per game covering 10.5 points in 32 of those games including the last 11. Obviously there are games in that sample where Jamal Murray isn’t playing, but it’s still a strong enough sample size across the season and I’m happy to back in this minutes play based on his performance in Game 1.
SGM: Westbrook 10+ Points / Jokic 25+ Points / Braun 10+ Points = $3.25
