I get it that the Rockets are favourite in this as they return to home court for Game 5, but this line for Jimmy Butler is still far too low.
Butler averages 18.3 points this series purely because he got tunnelled in Game 2, leaving the game after 8 minutes and finishing with 3 points. In the other two games he’s played though, he’s averaged 41 minutes and 26 points per game hitting 25+ points on both occasions.
The Rockets did well to restrict Curry’s volume in Game 4 putting themselves in a strong position to win on the road, finishing with 17 from 13 attempts. If Houston defend in a similar manner, Butler will be the beneficiary.

Minnesota Timberwolves @ LA Lakers (12:00pm)
Think we’ll see Gobert’s minutes less than ever as the Timberwolves try to pinch Game 5 in LA to close the series.
Gobert has not covered the PR of 15.5 in any of the four games so far this series, and is averaging just 4 points and 6 rebounds in the two road games. A key factor behind this is the Lakers playing Dorian Finney-Smith at centre for 38-40 minutes a night, who literally just spaces to the corner in LA’s offense, keeping Gobert off the defensive glass.
With a +/- of -11 in Minnesota’s Game 4 win, Reid played centre in their closing line-up which went +13 in the last to come from behind and win. Gobert has the second worst +/- for the Timberwolves this series at just +4 – Reid on the other hand has their third best at +26, so I think we’ll see more Naz in Game 5.
Even if Rudy continues to play 26 minutes I don’t think he covers this line – but I do think we’ll see closer to 20 minutes for the Frenchman in this.
