Paul George - NBA Tips

Betseeker’s expert tipsters have you covered for the best NBA tips and predictions for every game of the NBA season.

As the season winds down it’s harder to predict which players we’ll actually see out there, but surely we don’t see a full-strength Phoenix Suns outfit against the Clippers.

Best Bet

Thunder @ Jazz (11:00am)

OKC Thunder +17.5 ($1.90)

Utah is heavy, heavy favourites to beat a no-name OKC Thunder outfit at $1.04, but there’s merit in taking the Thunder at the +17.5 point head start.

Over the last 14 games, the Jazz has the worst spread coverage rate in the NBA at 21.4%. OKC on the other hand has the second-best coverage rate over the same timeframe at 71.4%.

The Thunder has covered the line in 10 of their last 11 games on the road as underdogs, with the Jazz failing to record a win by 18+ points since hosting the Clippers on March 19.

Entering this off no rest, Utah has only covered the spread once from their last eight games on the second game of a back-to-back. The Thunder won’t win, but they will stay within 18 points.

Next Best

Mavericks @ Pistons (9:00am)

Detroit Pistons +9.5 ($1.97)

If OKC has the second-best spread record over the last 14 games, who has the best you may ask? Surprisingly, the Detroit Pistons.

The Pistons’ spread coverage over this timeframe has been at 78.6%, and in their last nine games as underdogs on their home floor they’ve managed to cover on all nine occasions.

Although the Mavericks have been really good, 13 of their last 17 wins has been in single digits which suggests Detroit on their home floor with their young crew of Cunningham, Hayes, Bey and Stewart can make this somewhat competitive.

VALUE BET

Suns @ Clippers (12:00pm)

LA Clippers H2H ($2.20)

The Phoenix Suns had locked the #1 seed in the West a long time ago, and they’ll clearly finish the regular season with the best record in the NBA. There’s no way Monty Williams plays his studs in a back-to-back against the Clippers.

There’s no official announcement yet, but CP3 is very doubtful to suit up while it’s fair to assume Booker, Bridges, Crowder and Ayton are also unlikely in a nothing game for them.

Although the Clippers are locked in as the 8th seed, this match is much more important for them as they try to find some chemistry with Paul George back in the line-up after a long absence. Take the punt early and take the value with the assumption we’ll see the Suns B-unit out there.
