The Warriors have started the season strong in their title defence, and should be far too strong for an undermanned Charlotte Hornets.

As we tipped on Saturday, the Magic recorded their first win of the season against the Hornets as outsiders, and now Charlotte need to back-up when they return home to face the Warriors.
Last season the Hornets were the worst team in the NBA off no rest, going 2-13 including going 0-7 at home. From those seven home losses, when playing the second game of a back-to-back, Charlotte only covered the line once.
We all know Golden State has the ability to blow teams away, and with a rest advantage heading into this contest they should have no problems covering the -8.5 point handicap.

Hawks @ Bucks (11:00am)
With the best defence in the NBA this season, only conceding 100 points per game, the Milwaukee Bucks get another challenge early in the season when they host the Hawks.
Both teams enter this off no rest, which can take time for teams to adjust to during the season. Last season, from the first eight games the Bucks played off no rest, seven of those went under the total points.
Only one of Milwaukee’s four games this season has gone over 229 – a blowout against the Rockets – and while the Hawks can put the ball in the hole it won’t be easy in what is their first real test of the season. The total points in this should land closer to 220.
Value Bet
Pacers @ Nets (10:30am)
Ranked second in the NBA for assists, Tyrese Haliburton is having a monster season for the Indiana Pacers.
The Point Guard doesn’t have much of a support crew, but he’s still able to get his teammates good looks recording 10+ assists in his last five games which makes his line of 9.5 against the Nets a good bet.
Brooklyn is the sixth easiest team in the NBA for point guards to produce assists against this season 10% above average, and with their defensive troubles 12+ assists looks great value in what will likely be a shootout.
