I like this market for a number of reasons, but none more so than the fact that opposition guards have been absolutely torching Damian Lillard and the Bucks all season long:

That’s pretty ugly even before you factor in that the Bucks are on the second night of a back-to-back.
I’m expecting Kyrie to feast in the midrange as Adrian Griffin has deployed Brook Lopez back into his comfortable drop coverage defense. I’ve got a feeling that The Mavs are going to come in and cause an upset against the ultra-inconsistent Bucks.
Milwaukee is not a place that Kyrie has feared coming to, easily clearing this line in 3 of his last 5 visits, which was when Jrue Holiday was guarding him. Dame should be a piece of cake!

I’m not sure how this is even possible given this guy doesn’t ever leave the paint – but Rudy Gobert is somehow in the middle of a shooting slump! This presents a bit of a “buy low” opportunity as we expect to see some positive regression, so as to lift his 51% FG clip to somewhere around the 66-70% that he has achieved in each of his past 5 seasons.
The Pelicans are the perfect opponent to get this regression started as Gobert proved in his previous matchup earlier this season, posting a whopping 17 points and 21 (!) rebounds.
Zion and Co. are currently the third-worst rebounding team in the league, which means this is a perfect matchup to attack. Gobert at $2.90 for 14+ Rebounds was very nearly my value bet of the day.

It definitely feels like I’m attacking this match-up, but for good reason. Luka is 7th in the league for assists per game, clocking in 8.1 per contest, but his potential assists have him sitting 4th in the league at 15.5 per game.
When Adrian Griffin was in Toronto, they would often send doubles at Luka to get the ball out of his hands. Given he was allegedly the defensive mastermind, I would be surprised if anything changed.
Luka is simply too smart, and will make the first, and easiest read… every… single… time. I’m expecting his potential assists to eclipse 20 tomorrow – can his teammates cash in?
