NBA Tips – Sunday, February 9 NBA Picks & Multi

Hasn’t been smooth sailing for Malik Monk without De’Aaron Fox as the primary ball handler at Sacramento, but he gets a great opportunity against the Pelicans.

Best Bet

New Orleans Pelicans @ Sacramento Kings (2:10pm)

Malik Monk
Over 10.5 RA

Now has the keys to this Sacramento Kings offense but it hasn’t been smooth sailing for Malik Monk without De’Aaron Fox to start with – that’s about to change though.

Monk’s last three games without Fox has resulted in really low assist games – but he’s faced Portland, Orlando and Minnesota, who are the most difficult, 7th most difficult and 6th most difficult teams respectively to produce assists against over the last month.

Now against the Pelicans, they are conceding assists 12% above average over the last month and 17% above average for rebounds. The 10+ assists appears great value at $5.40, while the 8+ rebounds SGM at around $40 is certainly worth a small play.

SGM – Murphy 20+ Points / Monk 6+ Rebounds / Monk 8+ Assists = $10.00

Next Best

Indiana Pacers @ LA Lakers (8:10am)

Austin Reaves
Under 27.5 Points

I understand why Reaves’ line is so high in this clash against the Pacers – AD is gone, LeBron won’t play and Luka is still injured, but this is truly a crazy high line for someone of Reaves’ calibre.

The Laker’s usage will be sky high in this, but Indiana do defend point guards reasonably well this season conceding points 4% below average over the last month.

Completely expect Indiana to throw different defensive looks at Reaves in a match which could easily be a blowout, so even though the attempts and usage will be there I just can’t see Reaves blowing up like this.

SGM – Pacers / Reaves Under 27.5 Points / Williams Under 11.5 Rebounds = $3.75

Value Bet

Utah Jazz @ LA Clippers (2:40pm)

Isaiah Collier
10+ Assists

Real smokie for Rookie of the Year, as I expect the Jazz to pack up their key players after the all star break.

Isaiah Collier has still jumped Keyonte George in the pecking order at Utah with all starters playing, and he hasn’t let them down.

Collier’s last three games have resulted in double-doubles, having 10 assists against the Pacers, 11 against Golden State and 13 against Phoenix on Saturday. With Sexton, Markkanen and Collins all likely to miss, I think we’ll see additional usage for Collier and another 10+ assist game in this against the Clippers.

SGM – Kawhi 20+ Points / Zubac 12+ Rebounds / Collier 8+ Assists = $5.25

Sunday NBA Multi
