De'aaron Fox - NBA Tips

Mike Brown has been given the flick from Sacramento – what can we expect from the Kings led by De’Aaron Fox under new leadership?

Best Bet

New York Knicks @ Washington Wizards (11:10am)

Karl-Anthony Towns
Over 23.5 Points

Will likely be a blowout when the Knicks head to Washington, but this doesn’t matter when Thibs is running the show.

KAT has had a quiet period of late, but this is a great match-up for him. Centres have been filling up against the Wizards all season, and over the last month they concede points to centres 24% above average.

Averaging 24.3 points per game this season, KAT had 24 points last meeting against the Wizards but did this in just 24 minutes. I think he’ll play 30+ in this and be back to his best.

SGM – Knicks -12.5 / Towns Over 23.5 Points / Sarr 10+ Points = $4.50

Next Best

Detroit Pistons @ Denver Nuggets (1:10pm)

Cade Cunningham
10+ Assists

Been super impressive all season, averaging 11.2 assists across ten games over the last month.

Cunningham has managed 10+ assists in 12 of his last 15 games, and faces a Denver outfit that have given up a lot to point guards this season.

Over the last month, the Nuggets concede assists to point guards 13% above average and with the Pistons looking for four consecutive road wins this stretch against a Denver outfit entering off no rest, I think we’ll see a big game from Cade.

SGM – Cunningham 10+ Assists / Duren Under 10.5 Rebounds / Jokic 8+ Assists = $3.75

Value Bet

Sacramento Kings @ LA Lakers (2:40pm)

Kings
Win

There’s definitely a new coach element to this, and I think we’ll see De’Aaron Fox lead the Kings with a huge game under the leadership of interim coach and Kings legend, Doug Christie.

They certainly haven’t been winning, but in terms of the advanced metrics Sacramento actually has been ok.

Across December the Kings are ranked 10th in the NBA for net rating – this is better than the likes of Denver, the Clippers, Bucks and most importantly the Lakers, who despite going 6-5 in December so far are ranked 22nd in net rating this month.

Sacramento has also been fairly good on the road – since November 25 they’re ranked 8th in the NBA for net rating at 6.0. Let’s see if the Kings can resurrect this season by recording some wins.

SGM – Kings +2.5 / Fox 25+ Points / Monk Under 17.5 Points = $5.00

Sunday NBA Multi

Kings +3 / Suns +5.5 / Mavs
$5.55
