Hayes has never been able to make it as the starting centre for L.A, but with Ayton still out he will continue to get opportunities.
The Clippers can run out quite a large lineup with Zubac and Collins, so Hayes should see close to last games 22 minutes. He won’t create his own points, but he knows his role and more importantly where Luka needs him to be, as the lob threat.
The gravity that Luka is commanding now is incredible and Hayes looked much better at reading that, against Utah. He is averaging 14 points and 6 rebounds over the last two starts.

The Nuggets are on a run and come into this game against Houston on the back of a 6-game win streak. Houston on the other hand, is on a 2-game losing streak, firstly to this Denver Nuggets team but also to the current western conference worst record Pelicans.
The game these two played less than a week ago, ended up going to overtime, with Denver able to prevail. Jokic and Sengun went head-to-head and both finished with 30-point triple doubles, in what was an epic battle.
Denver have had the luxury of three games at home in the high altitude, where Houston had to travel down to the coast of New Orleans and back again. I know these guys travel is style, but the altitude can catch teams out in the mile high city, and it may be the difference down the stretch.

This could be a fun one, with both teams in good form and both with high assist type point guards running the show.
LaMelo was poor up until his last fortnight, where he has been closer to what we expect from him. Still wildly inconsistent, with his playing time and production, but last game was a glimpse of what he’s capable of. He made 8 threes, he had 13 assists, and he helped the Hornets knock off the Atlanta Hawks.
He has cleared 8+ assists six out of his last ten games, averaging exactly 8 for that period. With current form and the potential for a game within the game between Ball and Cade Cunningham, I can see at least 8.
