NBA Tips – Saturday, November 9 NBA Picks & Multi

Luka Doncic - NBA Tips

Doncic vs Booker has been one of the better rivalries in recent times – what does the next chapter have in store on a stacked Saturday slate.

Best Bet

New Orleans Pelicans @ Orlando Magic (11:10am)

Orlando -4.5
Line

No Banchero has really hurt the Magic who have now lost the last five, but if you look at the schedule closely it’s very understandable that they’ve dropped those games.

All five games were on the road, and it included the likes of Dallas, OKC, Indiana and Cleveland. They really challenged the Pacers last start who are generally a very strong team at home, and the addition of Bitadze does help cover the loss of Carter.

New Orleans on the other hand are broken. Herb, CJ, Dejounte, Trae Murphy and now Hawkins are out injured, while Zion is questionable. They’ve now lost six of their last seven games which includes Portland twice, and even if Ingram goes for 30 I expect the Magic to win this easily returning to their home court.

SGM – Magic -4.5 / KCP Under 10.5 Points / Bitadze 8+ Rebounds = $5.75

Next Best

Miami Heat @ Denver Nuggets (1:10pm)

Tyler Herro
Over 18.5 Points

Clearly Miami’s number one offensive option now averaging 22.7 points per game at point guard.

Tyler Herro’s minutes are at just 31.2 per game at the moment, but that’s due to the blowout against Washington where he played under 20 minutes. Outside of that game, he’s been around the 34-minute mark.

Herro’s per 36 minute numbers are strong this season going at 26.2 points per, and has covered 18.5 points in five of his seven games – every time he’s played 30+ minutes, Herro has covered. Coming off 28 against Phoenix and 27 against the Kings, he’s certainly capable of producing these mid 20-point numbers going forward.

SGM – Herro Over 18.5 Points / Rozier Over 13.5 Points / Jokic 8+ Assists = $4.33

Value Bet

Phoenix Suns @ Dallas Mavericks (11:40am)

Luka Doncic
35+ Points

The Luka vs Booker and the Suns rivalry is real. Ever since the 2022 Western Conference Semi Finals, Luka has made it his mission to destroy the Suns.

If you exclude the game where he only played three minutes due to injury, Doncic has averaged 35.4 points against Phoenix in his last 14 games – this is not a small sample size!

Half of those games Luka had 35+ points and in four of those 14 games he’s recorded 40+ points – the hatred appears to have grown stronger, because he’s scored 40+ on Phoenix in three of the last four.

There are many more chapters of this rivalry to come you have to feel.

SGM – Doncic 30+ Points / Gafford 10+ Points / Nurkic 10+ Rebounds = $4.00
