Victor Wembanyama was raging MVP favourite just last week but with two low scoring games in a row, there is a chance teams have worked out a way to minimise his impact.

Best Bet
Houston Rockets @ San Antonio Spurs (11:30am)
Victor has met a bit of roadblock over the last two games with a significant drop in his points, rebounds and minutes per game.
He managed just 9 points against Phoenix, then followed up with 19 against the Lakers as he was outplayed by Deandre Ayton and more importantly Luka Doncic. Teams are being far more physical with him and now there is a blueprint defence with drop coverage coming from the top of the key to frustrate the big Frenchman.
Houston are enormous and he won’t find an easy match up here with the likes of Sengun, Durant, Smith Jnr and Thompson to contend with.
Next Best
Detroit Pistons @ Brooklyn Nets (11:30am)
Another big game for Duren as our best bet and he cleared his line by 7 points. His line has moved one point to 16.5 here but its very achievable still against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Nets are a rabble at the moment, and centres have been scoring 28% more against them so far this season. Duren is up to 17.9PPG for the season but his last four games has been 22.5PPG. Happy to go back to the well until he gives us a reason not to.
Value Bet
Detroit Pistons @ Brooklyn Nets (11:30am)
Rinse and repeat from two days ago where MPJ had 8 boards at half time.
The shining light for Brooklyn is doing it all and rebounding like a mad man over the last week. He has cleared 8+ in his last three outings and Detroit don’t present any statistical reason that makes me think he won’t do this again. He is going at 12.3RPG over that period and we would be mad not to attack the value here again.
