It’s been a trainwreck for Dallas this season and to be honest, there isn’t much relief in sight.

With injuries to a heap of their stars, it’s been a slog and reflective in their current 4 – 12 standing. At stages they had none of their tall timber, but the return of Gafford and now Lively, has helped somewhat. Lively has been restricted in his return from injury and has played the majority this season from the bench. In his last game versus the Knicks however, he got the start.

He finished the game playing 18 minutes and grabbing a season high 10 rebounds. We should see the minutes hopefully increase to 20 against New Orleans and Lively should find 6+ rebounds against their rookie centre.

I actually love this bet, unsure why the market is favouring the under.

The Wizards are allowing opposition centres to score 30% more points, Alex Sarr is questionable, and Marvin Bagley is doubtful. Even if Sarr plays, Poeltl will have a great matchup and chance to keep his current momentum. Jakob started the season dealing with a hip injury which was restrictive and forced him to miss games. Since his return, his lowest points total is 12 and over the last fortnight he is averaging 16.3PPG.
