Up against the Grizzlies, this isn’t a bad match-up for power forwards with Memphis conceding points 6% above average over the last month. JJJ is an elite defender in this league, but this is predominantly against bigs opposed to wings, so Kawhi could cause him a few headaches in this.

Some of the numbers Avdija is producing for the Trail Blazers lately justify the decision to trade pick 14 for him in last year’s draft, with the Power Forward thriving without Jerami Grant.
If you exclude the game he got injured in the first five minutes against the Wizards, Deni has five double-doubles across nine games averaging 10.8 rebounds per game during this stretch to go with 21.7 points.
This match-up against the Nuggets is a nice one – Denver concedes rebounds 7% above average against power forwards over the last month, but they’ll also be without Jokic running Aaron Gordon at the five. This means we’ll likely see Portland go small as well with Avdija at the five, with Clingan likely to see less minutes due to the match-up.
