We hit this comfortably in the Pelicans last game, where Zion finished with 13RA. Although overtime was played, Zion only added one assist and one rebound in that period, clearing this line in regulation.

Although I thought the majority would be coming from Zion’s rebounding, it was his assists that got us the clearance. He finished with 8 assists, and we saw a slight uptick to his usage as the primary point guard.

Averaging 8.6RPG over his last seven games, I still expect him to get the majority of these off the glass. The assist numbers in the last fortnight are a solid back up if the rebounds don’t fall his way.

His per36 numbers are great and hopefully we don’t see any limitation on his playing time. If he plays 30+, he clears.

The minutes have been down as he works through a soreness in his back, with a double header against Memphis, we will monitor if he plays the first or second game, as he won’t play both.
