The Celtics have been dominant at home this season producing some huge score lines and we should expect another against the Magic.
Best Bet
Magic @ Celtics (11:40am)
The Celtics are averaging a huge 125.8 points per game at home this season, and as a result, we regularly see the total points go over at TD Garden.
Eleven of Boston’s 13 home games this season have gone over the total points with the average differential a whopping 15.7 points, going over in nine of their last ten home games.
With the average total points at 241.3 from Boston’s last ten home games, it’s incredible we’re still getting the total points line in the 220s for games at the Garden.
Next Best
Pacers @ Cavaliers (11:40am)
The Cavs are one of the best performing home teams in the NBA this season, which makes this contest tough for the Pacers.
Cleveland is 12-2 at home, equal with the Warriors and just behind the Grizzlies, and are covering in 71.4% of their home games, ranked second, once again behind Memphis.
Indiana has failed to cover in four of their last five road games, and if they were unable to cover against Minnesota last time they were on the road, they’ll struggle against the Cavs.
Value Bet
Trail Blazers @ Mavericks (12:40pm)
The Trail Blazers are a surprising candidate as one of the best road teams in the NBA. They’re ranked second for road record behind the Celtics going at 60% with a 9-6 record, and head to Dallas to face Luka and the Mavs.
The Mavericks are 11-5 at home this season which is serviceable, but they’re the second-worst team at covering the spread on their home floor at just 25% this season.
On the flip side, Portland has the best road coverage record in the NBA at 73.3%, winning five of their last six. With some Dame Lillard magic, they’ll make a fist of this as underdogs.
