The Bulls had a shocker in their last game against the Celtics, but expect them to bounce back against the Hornets on their home floor.
Best Bet
Trail Blazers @ Mavericks (10:30am)
Dallas -17.5 ($1.85)
It’s a very big line for the Mavericks to cover at 17.5, but this Trail Blazers team is diabolical.
Portland has won just 2 of their last 21 games, with their averaging losing margin 22.7 points. 12 of those 19 games have been by over 18+ points, despite only 8 of them being against teams with a record above .500. But their losses haven’t just been around that 20-point mark – 9 of their 19 losses have been by 30+ points.
During this stretch against teams with a record above .500 their average losing margin is 26 points, with five of the eight losses being by 30+. Dallas should smash them, with the 31+ market value at $5.05.

Hornets @ Bulls (10:00am)
Chicago -2.5 ($1.96)
This game between Chicago and Charlotte should be a lot more competitive, and although there’s serious question marks around the Bulls against quality opposition they get Charlotte at the perfect time.
The Hornets have the worst record in the NBA this season off no rest at 1-13. They also have the worst coverage at the spread off no rest, covering in just 21.4% of those games.
The Bulls have beaten Charlotte twice this season comfortably by 11+ and coming off the disappointment of their effort against the Celtics, they should cover the line of 2.5 on their home floor.

Thunder @ Lakers (12:30pm)
OKC Thunder +8.5 / Over 227.5 Total Points ($3.58)
Perhaps put the bet on this one, then go mow the lawn, put on the races or the footy and check the score afterwards. A no-name OKC team play this season’s biggest disappointment in the Lakers – but they’ll be without AD, Westbrook and LeBron.
The biggest issue of this aging Los Angeles roster all season has been their inability to defend, and over the last ten games they’re ranked last in the NBA for opponent points conceding 123.1 per game.
This Thunder outfit is just about unrecognisable, so don’t expect any defence between these two teams. Lakers probably win in a shootout, but they don’t deserve to be $1.25 favourites giving up an 8.5 head start.
