The New York Knicks will look to sweep the 76ers in Game 4 in Philadelphia, while a bench player for the Timberwolves could be the difference when they face the Spurs.
New York Knicks @ Philadelphia 76ers (5:40am)
Was horrendously out of form in New York’s series against Atlanta, but this appears to be a friendlier matchup for Mikal Bridges.
With OG doubtful in this – doesn’t make much sense for the Knicks to play him up 3-0, this is an additional benefit for Bridges.
This series against Philadelphia, Bridges has hit 15+ points in all three games, averaging 19.3 points per game. Without OG and with Brunson and Towns, Bridges averages 19 points per game from a 12-game sample, hitting 15+ in nine of those games.
San Antonio Spurs @ Minnesota Timberwolves (9:40am)
If the Timberwolves are any chance of squaring this series, Chris Finch has to play Naz Reid.
His plus-minus In Game 1 was +15 in 29 minutes off the bench, and in Game 3 he finished +3 – he fits this matchup with the Spurs a lot more than both Gobert and Randle, with the latter -40 this series.
Reid has covered this PR in two of the three games this series – he still managed a PR of 18 in Game 2 despite playing just 21 minutes. From Naz’s last six games he averages 14.2 points and 8.2 rebounds, and realistically along with Edwards he is Minnesota’s best chance of squaring this series.
