Best Bet
New York Knicks @ Boston Celtics (4:40am)
Rebound numbers have been incredible for Jaylen Brown for an extended period of time now. The Celtics All Star is averaging 8 from his last 23 games, so I’m surprised to see the line still at 6.5 when he faces the Knicks.
Brown has covered 6.5 rebounds in 19 of those 23 matches, which includes doing so in 14 of his last 15 where that average jumps up to 8.6.
Based on recent form, I think the 8+ is a nice price to go with the line.
Next Best
Miami Heat @ Washington Wizards (6:10am)
With Tyler Herro still out for the Heat, Davion Mitchell will once again start at point for the Heat.
Mitchell is averaging 7.2 assists per game this season, but recent form has been inconsistent, only covering this line in three of the last eight games.
What’s in Mitchell’s favour though is the match-up – the Wizards concedes assists to point guards 12% above average over the last month. With Mitchell recording 10 assists two starts back against the Hawks, we could see something similar here.
Value Bet
LA Clippers @ Minnesota Timberwolves (7:10am)
Is averaging 17.2 points from his last nine games entering Minnesota, and you expect this to just improve for John Collins going forward.
Both Zubac and Harden got traded at the deadline, while Darius Garland and Bennedict Mathurin won’t suit up in this – as a result, Collins will be the second offensive option for LA alongside Kawhi.
Although he’s only scored 20+ twice from his last nine games, he enters this in good form after having 22 last start against the Kings.
