Yeah, he started the year way below the player we have come to expect but Tyrese has been decent of late. Known for his assist numbers, this line just seems way too low for a player of his calibre.

He is averaging 8.7 assists per game this season but 10.3 over his last two weeks. He has averaged 15.1 potential assists and 9.8 assists over his last 5 games. Three double digit assist games in a row going into this one and that’s enough for my best of the day.

He has been back 11 games now since his fractured hand and I think we have seen the last of the rust. Contributing across the board for the Pelicans, he is starting to find his groove.

With Brandon Ingram still out, DJ’s usage should remain high. He has a 26% usage rating and the Pels have been leaning on him since his return. It hasn’t really been working for them as they have gone 1-9 in their last 10 but the blame is spread right across the team. Currently dead last in the league for points scored, I don’t see them challenging the Nuggets here.

He has averaged 17 PPG over the last fortnight, and that’s with a terrible FG percentage of just .39%. We know he is a better scorer than this and last season averaged 22.5 PPG for the year. Averaging 16 shot attempts per game is easily enough for him to clear this line.

Dick has been somewhat of a standout for Toronto this season along with Barrett and Barnes when healthy.

The second year player has shown himself to be quite the scorer, and his recent form is probably his best. Averaging 19.3PPG this month and heating up to 23PPG this week. The return of Barrett and Barnes initially concerned me about the impact to Dick’s offence, but his field goal attempts have remained high at 17 shots per game and his three point attempts have actually increased to over 9 a game. Cleared this mark 3 out of his last 5 and one miss was a 19 point night.
