Jarrett Allen - NBA Tips

The Cavs were rolling, notching 16 wins before their first loss. Now they’re on a two game losing streak and people are asking questions. Jarrett Allen owes them after his last performance and what better way to answer your critics than against the reigning champions.

Best Bet

Boston Celtics @ Cleveland Cavaliers (10:00am)

Jarrett Allen
Over 11.5 Points

The double double streak had to end at some stage and last games howler took care of that. After 7 in a row JA just couldn’t get anything going in their loss to Atlanta.

I’m taking it as a blip on the radar as he wasn’t injured, but more wasn’t making an impact against the run and gun Hawks, only playing 25 minutes. Mobley was brilliant for the Cavs and two big’s was too slow at times. Here they face Eastern Conference rival Boston and I can see him bouncing back.

Boston have enough problems themselves with game time decisions across the squad. Relevant to this bet, Porzingis and Horford who both potentially sit. That would only leave fill in Centre’s for Boston and Allen could have a field day.

SGM – Allen 10+ Points/ Holiday 4+ Assists/ Mobley 8+ Rebounds = $3.20

Next Best

Indiana Pacers @ Memphis Grizzlies (07:30am)

Ja Morant
Over 21.5 Points

Morant’s point production is definitely on the rise after a slower start to the season. Averaging 25.1 points per game last season he has bumped his 21PPG up to 24.5PPG over the passed fortnight.

Ja has cleared this mark 6 out of 10 games this season including his most recent two games after returning from a hard fall on a hip. Memphis still have a string of injured players and have done well to be the third seed in the West and on a 5 game win streak.

Indiana are a few defensive guards short at the moment so I don’t see them having an answer for Ja. Hoping for around the 30 minutes playing time which should be plenty to hit this reduced points line.

SGM – Morant 20+ Points/ Haliburton 3+ 3 Pointers/ Bane 4+ Rebounds = $3.40

Value Bet

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Houston Rockets (11:00am)

Isaiah Hartenstein
14+ Rebounds

I wonder if New York ever regret playing this guy off the bench and second fiddle to Mitchell Robinson…

Hartenstein has been massive for OKC in his first four games for this season. A double double in each game and an average rebound per game of 14! With the long term injury to Chet Holmgren its opened the perfect playing window for Hartenstein and he is grabbing the bull by the horns.

The Thunder are rolling and sit atop the Western Conference. The emergence of Jalen Williams as a superstar and the ever consistent Shai Gilgeous-Alexander make this team a nightmare for opponents. Adding IHart has given them paint presence at both ends and his rebounding is his one wood.

SGM – Hartenstein 10+ Rebounds/ Thompson 6+ Rebounds/ Smith Jnr 10+ Points = $3.25
