NBA Tips – Friday, October 28 NBA Picks & Multi

Ben Simmons

Betseeker’s expert NBA tipsters have you covered for the best tips and predictions for every game of the NBA season.

Despite the 1-3 start to the season, the Brooklyn Nets have shown enough signs that they can bounce back when they face the Mavericks.

Best Bet

Mavericks @ Nets (10:30am)

Nets +2.5
Line

The plus for Brooklyn Nets on their home court looks a great bet, even off no rest from Thursday’s loss to the Bucks.

Brooklyn covered on both occasions they met last season, and although it’s been a poor start record wise at 1-3, they have come up against three of the more in-form teams in the NBA. The Pelicans clearly caught them off guard to start the season, while both Memphis and Milwaukee have started the season strong.

The Nets have the defensive pieces to slow down Luka in Ben Simmons and Royce O’Neal, and assuming KD and Kyrie play the back-to-back, the Nets +2.5 is the play.

Next Best

Grizzlies @ Kings (1:00pm)

Kevin Huerter
12+ Points

Although the former Hawk only had 9 points against the Warriors last game, Kevin Huerter still had the 14 field goal attempts and fits in this Sacramento system nicely alongside De’Aaron Fox.

Huerter had 23 including 6 triples in their opener against the Blazers and backed it up with 18 with 5 triples against the Clippers, playing healthy minutes in both outings.

There was plenty of hype around the Kings in the pre-season, and this contest with the Grizzlies is a must-win on their home floor. Expect big minutes from Huerter in which he should easily record 12+ points, while 4+ triples at $3.34 also good value.

Value Bet

Heat @ Warriors (1:00pm)

Golden State 11+
Margin

The Heat head to Golden State off no rest after giving Portland their first loss for the season on Thursday, but their record in back-to-backs raises alarm bells.

Miami went 2-7 from their first nine games off no rest last season, with their defence struggling in particular – nine of their first ten games with no rest going overs.

The Heat lost both games against the Warriors last season, with Golden State undermanned on both occasions. Klay didn’t feature in either game, while Curry and Draymond were missing the second time around. Golden State will be determined to get the win after the Phoenix beat down last game, and look likely to make a statement with a double-digit victory.
