Joel Embiid - NBA Tips

Betseeker’s expert tipsters have you covered for the best NBA tips and predictions for every game of the NBA season.

It’s been a slow start to the 22/23 season for the Philadelphia 76ers, but expect Joel Embiid to produce a big game in an attempt to get it back on track.

Best Bet

76ers @ Hawks (11:30am)

Joel Embiid
29+ Points

Joel Embiid hasn’t exactly set the world on fire just yet, but with James Harden still missing, we should see post a big line here.

Averaging 28 points per game, down from 30.6 last season, Embiid’s field goal is still surprisingly high at 50.8% this season and comes off a 33-point performance against the Suns last game in Harden’s absence.

The Hawks concede points to centres 14% above average this season, which provides Embiid a huge opportunity on Friday.

Next Best

Hornets @ Heat (11:30am)

Terry Rozier
31+ PRA

Scary Terry has shot the ball horribly since returning from injury but the promising sign is the attempts, ranked 4th in the NBA this season with 22 per game. The ball is bound to go at some stage for Rozier, and it just may be here against the Heat.

Miami concede points to shooting guards 14% above average this season, making them the second easiest team for 2-guards to score against, and with Charlotte still without LaMelo and Gordon Hayward there’s no doubt we’ll continue to see high usage and shot attempts from Rozier in this one.

Averaging a PRA of 33.6 this season, if he can manage to shoot the ball at 40% (not asking much) he covers the 30.5 PRA with ease.

Value Bet

Trail Blazers @ Pelicans (12:00pm)

Portland
Win

It’s been a hot start for the Trail Blazers this season going 8-3, which includes a league best 5-1 road record while covering in all five wins.

New Orleans on the other hand have been rather inconsistent with a 6-5 record covering in 45.5% of games so far and losing their only game off no rest this season when they faced the Hawks. The $1.35 price looks far too short for them here.

They’ve had some poor losses of late against the Lakers and Pacers, and while they’d be happy to get out of Chicago with a road win they were less than convincing outside of a strong last quarter. Portland is a nice price at $3.25 in this one, in which they should cover the healthy line of +6.5.
