First blood to the Pistons, with a convincing home court win. To Advance, the Cavs must steal at least one game from Little Ceasars Arena, could it be game two?

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Detroit Pistons (9:10am)
The Cavs lost game 1 by ten points and clearly, they need to make some adjustments to contain Detroit but also shoot a winning score.
Mitchell started on fire with 14 of the Cavs first 28, before the Pistons did a great job containing him. An early injury to Sam Merrill will only assist Strus here and I expect him to be injected for a scoring punch often, off the bench.
Allen had foul trouble, Harden struggled when Cunningham was his direct opponent and the Pistons looked the better recovered team after a seven-game series. Strus must shoot and shoot often for Cleveland to have any chance of stealing this game.
L.A Lakers @ OKC Thunder (11:40am)
Saluted for us in game 1 with a PR line, but the rebounds were more impressive to me.
He grabbed 7 boards in 20 minutes and got some early playing time due to Hartenstein’s foul trouble. Nothing to say IHart or Holmgren won’t find themselves in foul trouble again with the Lakers likely to stay aggressive. Even without it, Williams is in the rotation and his job on the floor is just to rebound.
An early lead helps, a blowout even better and with OKC, they are both easily possible. When Jalen Williams doesn’t play, we see an 11% increase for Jaylin’s rebounding numbers.
