It’s always a bit daunting fading a superstar, especially when his new partner in crime, LeBron James, will be absent again. Doncic is dealing with constant injury management with his back and knee issues but now we can add to that an ankle complaint. He currently is questionable for this game.

In his short time in L.A, he has definitely made Dallas second guess their decision to move him on. But with all the highlight plays and the Lakers going on an 8 game win streak, his PRA numbers have not quite reached here. In his last 10 games as a Laker, Luka has only cleared 50 PRA on 2 occasions.

Add to that the fact that Milwaukee are the hardest teams for point guards to play against over the past month and Luka has to have an exceptional game to clear this line. The Bucks are desperate for this win, with a loss potentially dropping them 2 spots in the Eastern Conference. I expect constant defensive schemes and a heap of doubling from Coach Rivers.

Whether it happens this game or they wait a few more, Vuc will get his starting spot from Zach Collins who has been brave, filling in for the Bulls. Vucevic is a far better player in all facets and it will only be injury management that prevents him from starting again. Playing 24 minutes was a great sign that the calf is not bothering him and they will only ramp him up from here.

Vucevic’s rebound line is normally around the 11 rebounds per game mark and across this season he has averaged 10.3 per game. If he starts, he clears relatively easily, and even coming off the bench he can still manage 9 boards against the Brooklyn Nets.
