Charlotte have been without their starting centre now for 10 games and barring his own injury, it has been Mousa who has taken over the starting role.

For the most part he has been great, especially defensively and his rebounding numbers have been impressive. However, this line has been taken at his best form, and it sits well above what he produces on average. In two games since returning from a wrist strain, he has had PRA totals of 18 and 27.

If we zoom out a touch and include the games preinjury where he was still the starting centre, he only averaged 10P, 7R and 3A. His minutes were still 30+ per game but to cover 24 stats, it’s a big night from Diabate. Happily taking the under here, knowing it will take a strong game to take us down.

Gafford looks much more comfortable playing off of Anthony Davis and it looks like Dallas have found some cohesion in their starting group.

The return of Anthony Davis has worked wonders for Gaff, who was struggling with production against the main stay centres of the competition. In his last five games he has only failed to clear this line on one occasion and has two double doubles in his last four starts.

He is not a high-volume player, but we know what we will get from Gafford. Efficient shooting, close to the basket shot attempts and maximum effort on rebounds. The boost in playing time over the last week has seen a rise in his points and rebounds, that this line hasn’t adjusted for.
