Best Bet
Memphis Grizzlies @ Orlando Magic (6:10am)
The Orlando Magic have split their last ten games at 50%. They have had a run of injuries to their starters and have not had much consistency this season. They will welcome back Franz Wagner for this game, who happens to be one of three German nationals playing for the Magic. His brother Moritz and Tristan da Silva, being the others.
The NBA is making a big push for their league to be the global game and it’s not by coincidence that the Magic are playing in Germany. This will feel like a home crowd and Euro crowds are known for being vocal. I would not be surprised at playoff type atmosphere for the Magic.
Memphis on the other hand is full of problems, Edey remains out, they are down to their third ranked point guard and Ja Morant looks like he is all but traded at this stage. The team was seen having strong words between players at training and I don’t have any faith that they can keep this professional on the court.
Next Best
Charlotte Hornets @ L.A Lakers (2:30pm)
A previous bet that we have hit as a best bet this season and the number looks just right again.
A subpar performance against the Clippers last game, has helped move this line probably a full stat below its usual line. Averaging 6.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists for the season.
It’s a known fact that players of opposition teams love coming into L.A, getting a nationwide televised game and a courtside full of celebrities and Bridges is no exception. He could clear this with rebounds alone and should be safe including the assists.
Value Bet
Atlanta Hawks @ Portland Trail Blazers (2:10pm)
Kispert and CJ McCollum joined the Atlanta Hawks via the Trae Young trade. McCollum will face an old employer here, as the Hawks take on the Trail Blazers in Portland.
Kispert is a former 15th pick and has survived five seasons in the NBA as a professional scorer. He never really made waves as a starter and mainly fulfills the sixth man, bench scorer type role. At Atlanta it will be just the same, especially if Luke Kennard misses this game, as they play a very similar role.
Don’t worry about season long data at the moment, as Corey has only played two games for Atlanta. The first game, straight off a plane, he had 2 points. Next game, he had 19 in twenty-six minutes. This highlights his ability to get this 10+ marker easily, if the minutes allow it.
