Anthony Edwards - NBA Tips

With All Star Weekend fast approaching, expect Antman to go in on a high, after a big game here against OKC.

Best Bet

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Minnesota Timberwolves (12:30pm)

Anthony Edwards
Over 40.5 PRA

A disappointing loss for the Wolves last night against a severely undermanned Milwaukee Bucks side. Edwards had a shot to win it for his team, but ultimately missed the winning three point shot.

Leaving a bitter taste in his mouth, I expect him to bounce back here against the Western Conference favourite OKC Thunder. Over his last four games, Antman is averaging this entire 40.5 PRA line, in points alone! Add to that a combined 11 RA average over that span and it’s a huge window for us.

His field goal numbers are off the chart, averaging 23 attempts over his last ten games, that has rocketed to 28.5 attempts in his last four. With All Star Weekend being this weekend, Edwards will want bragging rights over Oklahoma’s two All Stars.

SGM – Edwards Over 40.5 PRA/ McDaniels 6+ Rebounds/ Hartenstein Under 10.5 Rebounds = $4.33

Next Best

Sacramento Kings @ New Orleans Pelicans (12:10pm)

C.J McCollum
Over 21.5 Points

One of the weird anomaly’s that the NBA scheduling can provide, with this game being an exact repeat of the night before. This now makes 3 games in a row that CJ will face the Sacramento Kings.

CJ was pretty flat to be fair and finished with only 14 points, so what will change? Well Sacramento will need to make adjustments to stop Zion, who finished with 33 points in just 27 minutes and that should lead to more usage for McCollum. CJ missed all 5 of his 3 point attempts, but averages 3 makes from deep for the entire season and all of last season. He is far to seasoned to let one off night get inside his head.

In his first meeting with Sacramento, five days ago, he smoked them for 31 points. The attempts were still there last game, and I’m backing him to find his form again.

SGM – McCollum 20+ Points/ DeRozan 20+ Points/ K.Murray 10+ Points = $3.50

Value Bet

Miami Heat @ Dallas Mavericks (12:30pm)

Bam Adebayo
20+ Points

Averaging 21.3 PPG over his last ten games, he has reached 20 points or more in 6 of his last 8 games.

Dallas are absolutely short staffed at the moment, in more ways then one. With injuries to their first 4 Centre’s, it leaves a mosquito squad of players to try and fill the floor. PJ Washington is questionable for this one but at 6’7 he is hardly a Centre.

With Kel’el Ware drawing the Mavs tallest opponent, we could see Bam match up on the inexperienced Kessler Edwards, or much shorter Klay Thompson. If Miami are smart, they will feed the ball inside to Bam all game and he will cover this by ¾ time.

SGM – Adebayo 20+ Points/ Irving 25+ Points/ Thompson 4+ Rebounds = $5.75
